Kay's Design Tips

1. Choose timeless and classic pieces that will last a lifetime.

2. Start with neutrals and put your color into your walls and accessories.

3. Use the 'rule of odds' when accessorizing.  Placing one, three, or five items in a space adds balance.  We also encourage clients to be eclectic and avoid too much 'matchy matchy!'  What makes a room interesting is the unexpected surprise used in a different way just because...you decide!

4. Paint is the fastest and least expensive way to change a room.

5. Use wallpaper with restraint in contained areas such as a powder room.
